Stretching Exercises

You need to exercise everyday in order to keep fit and healthy. It is not only the core exercises that make a difference, but what you do before and after the exercises also counts and this is what consists of a work out schedule.
Before you start exercising, a warm up is very essential to get your body up and ready to start the exercises. Thereby you will not only prepare the body but avoid injuries to joints and muscles too that can result out of suddenly starting exercising. Warm up session can consist of light exercises or light aerobics.
Warm up exercises are always light and vigorous. It involves doing very simple stretching and moving of hands, legs and body parts to be able to get the circulation up and going besides getting body ready for exercising.
Always keep in mind that doing cardio vascular exercising is very important part of any workout. This is a must for you will improve the functioning of the heart and lungs with this workout besides building a better immunity system too. Moreover by doing cardio you are burning the calories too.
Cardio exercising is necessary to be done at least four times a week for twenty to forty minutes depending upon each individual, for maximum benefit and effectiveness. You should aim at forty to sixty percent of heart capacity while exercising. Start slowly and build up as you go on.
Just like a warm up is necessary before exercising, cooling down is necessary before stopping the exercises too. You would need to reduce the body system speed by exercising slowly and lightly for about ten minutes before halting. This gives the body sufficient time to cool down and stop gradually and thereby avoid any injury or shock to the body parts.
Stretching exercises always follow regular exercising and cooling down period. Then the body is supple and ready for stretching exercises, which will help body, build flexibility as well as tone the muscles.
